I’m always on the look out for style inspiration and find that pinterest is usually my first stop. Doesn’t she just makes this top look absolutely adorable. Pairing it with a white skirt and heart shaped glasses is the perfect playful summer look. Though I keep my look pretty simple I’m always inching to get out of my comfort zone and be a little more brave with my style.
This past Saturday, R and I went downtown for a bite for lunch and a quick stop at a local bike store to get a birthday present for my brother in law. While on our way back to the car we ran into a couple friends, one thing led to another and next thing you know we were out all day wining and dining. It was a perfect way to catch up with friends, check out some new eateries and enjoy some old favorites.
Whether you’re wearing a date night outfit or cuddling up on the coach in your sweats, there is something that makes you feel fresh, super feminine and a bit more pulled together when wearing pretty undergarments. It’s even more important to revamp this part of your wardrobe when the summer sun comes out and undergarments are not as well hidden as they may have been during the winter.
I usually look for delicate pieces in basic colors (white, black, navy and grey) or even light pastels are nice. Finding pieces with a bit of lace or a pretty bow will make you feel more confident, I promise! You won’t only feel great about your outfit but also know that what your wearing underneath is just as fabulous.

My parents recently went cherry picking with some friends a couple weekends ago and like past years, came home with way too many cherries for only them to consume. So my sister and I, being the good children we are, showed up at their home to take some cherries off their hands. Though I love eating cherries by themselves, I wanted to find a delicious recipe for them. Cherries and chocolate are always a decadent and delicious duo so I was pretty happy to come across this recipe. It also uses ingredients like Greek yogurt and applesauce making it a better option than most chocolate muffin recipes.
I normally don’t lean towards crochet since its very Coachella and a bit too boho for my everyday taste. But lately I been craving that oh so slight hippie feel. I found some pieces online that I think would be perfect additions to my summer wardrobe. They have that 70’s vibe but also look very dainty and delicate.
I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to beauty products. I love researching and trying new brands and different types of makeup. It’s always satisfying when I find a new “go to” product or introduce friends to products I feel is a must in their beauty routine. Below is my most recent hit list. (more…)
Living 20 minutes away from Napa never gets old. It is one of my favorite day trips. Exploring vineyards, trying new eateries and taking in the fabulous views is a great way to spend a Saturday. There is something peaceful about sharing a bottle of wine between friends, having good conversation and being surrounded by endless rows of vines. This past weekend we did exactly that. We stopped at Twomey Cellars for a quick taste then headed to V. Sattui for a picnic.
